Hello friends,

With the recent Shelter In Place mandate issued for the Bay Area, all scheduled gatherings that were to have taken place in the upcoming weeks have understandably been cancelled/postponed. While we at Thai Rice Spoon Catering are deeply saddened by this, we recognize how necessary these measures are for the health and well-being of the entire community.
We know how challenging it has been for our customers, especially for those who were in the midst of planning their upcoming weddings this year, to have to postpone their event(s). But we continue to stay hopeful that these difficult times will indeed pass and are already looking forward to the time when our catering services may continue.  
Until then, we would like to take the time to deeply thank those who have stopped by our restaurant Thai Table ​in Berkeley for take-out dinners. Our small, but mighty kitchen is still going strong and it is and always will be our pleasure to serve you. We hope that you'll continue to find comfort in our offerings during this difficult time.

With the growing impact that coronavirus (COVID-19) has across the world and on our community, we’d like to share some steps we at Thai Rice Spoon Catering and Table Table Restaurant are taking to ensure the health and safety of our guests. 

We will continue to ensure that all employees are:
  • Practicing personal hygiene, including washing hands thoroughly and frequently
  • Properly washing and sanitizing kitchen equipment, tools, and utensils throughout the day
  • Cleaning and sanitizing to prevent cross contamination between all cooking batches and when changing ingredients
  • Keeping work areas clean and using sanitizer on all working surfaces
  • Staying home if not feeling well​

We’ll continue taking additional measures to maintain clean and sanitized common spaces throughout service and will continue to follow the local food safety standards.

From sourcing to prepping to the moment the meal is delivered to your table, office, or home, food safety is and will always be our top priority. We are committed to ensuring our customers’ health and wellbeing.
